@hunthefreak    ( … )      [       mira   blinked,   slowly   shutting   the   door   of   her   locker   after   shoving   her   textbooks   into   her   backpack.   how   did   people   already   know   this ?   did   gossip   really   travel   this   fast ?   had   they   seen   her   working   in   that   diner   already ?      ]      uh..   yeah.   it’s   more   of   a   hobby.   anything   really,   but   cherry   pies   are   one  of   my   faves.

[ with a sweet tooth and a coffee addiction,  it wasn’t uncommon to see oddette every morning in the shop.  since being on her vacation,  she hadn’t lived up to her “regular” expectation. seeing a new face behind the counter felt like relief—-  the previous guy sucked,  to say the least.  the curiosity of her new face itched at her.  did she just move to hawkins?  did she work her prior to her vacation and did she just not pay well enough attention?  either way,  she felt like a breath of fresh air. ]    you’re going to hate me when i say this—-  i’m not a huge cherry fan.   [ sun-kissed features scrunch slightly as she delivers the statement. ]   i’m more of a peach and lemon girl.  

@remanoirs   ( … )    [     mira   didn’t   recognize   the   girl   at   all — not   that   she   expected   to.   she’d   only   been   in   hawkins   for,   what,   two   and   a   half   weeks ?   long   enough   to   memorize   the   bus   routes   and   figure   out   which   grocery   store   had   the   cheapest   cereal,   but   not   long   enough   to   know   every   face   that   drifted   through   town.   landing   a   part‑time   job   so   quickly   had   been   a   stroke   of   luck,   but   with   the   new   term   at   hawkins   high   creeping   closer,   she   knew   her   schedule   was   about   to   shrink   whether   she   liked   it   or   not.   maybe   this   girl   went   to   the   school   too.   the   thought   made   her   oddly   curious.     ]       duh.     [      she   teased,   as   she   grabbed   a   small   pastry   bag,   scooping   it   inside   with   the   tongs.      ]      though   my   personal   favourite   is   the   cherry.

can you blame me?    [ odette lets out a small chuckle,  their laughter filling up the space.  she proceeds to rummage through her bag.  it is continuous until she finally pulls out her wallet. ]   you sold me.  i’ll take one of the apple puff pastries and a milkshake—-  do you have strawberry?
