i just want to drop the awful knowledge that the first three chapters of “he” were not about real ppl like the rest of the book but instead were about sirius black, remus lupin and harry potter respectively and absolutely no one picked up on it and now that it’s been unpublished none of you will ever be able to go back and read them knowing what you do now. i have cursed you with this and i’m not sorry. if i have to know this so do you.<3

Every once in a while somebody adds CloserToHome to a reading list (thank you) but it always makes me wonder what you guys think that is. Like I guess it just looks like a one sided conversation? a weird experimental style of fiction? kinda cool.
i just published something to “he” for the first time in a year. it’s been a week of grief and celebration, i graduated and i faced a lot of goodbyes, and i’m holding myself up with fewer strings, but everything is about to open up for me in ways i’ve been waiting for for a long time, & i’m grateful. check out the new poem if you’d like, let me know what you think. it was nice to share something again, and i’m proud of the finished product. i hope you’re all well.
