॥सर्वस्यापि भवेद्धेतुः ॥

श्रीमद्भगवतगीता says -

जिंदगी में जो कुछ भी होता है अच्छे के लिए होता है बुरा वक़्त इसलिए आता है ताकि हम अच्छे वक़्त की कीमत जान सके और लोग इसलिए बदल जाते है ताकि हम उनके असली चेहरे पहचान सकें कि वो क्या थे और हम उन्हें क्या समझ रहे थे।

जो बदला जा सके उसे बदलो, जो बदला न जा सके उसे स्वीकारो, और जो स्वीकारा न जा सके उससे दूर हो जाओ, लेकिन स्वयं को हमेशा खुश रखो।

The meaning of Karma is in the intention.

The intention behind action is what matters. Those who are motivated only by desire for the fruits of action are miserable, for they are constantly anxious about the results of what they do.
