A 65 year old child and adolescent psychiatrist who closed my 25 year Seattle practice in 2002 to begin a new life in New Zealand. I'm the author of three books: The Most Revolutionary Act: Memoir of an American Refugee, The Battle for Tomorrow: A Fable and 21st Century Revolution.

The Most Revolutionary Act is a memoir describing the FBI harassment that led me to leave the US. The Battle for Tomorrow is a young adult novel about a 16 year old girl who is arrest for participating in the blockade and occupation of the US Capitol. 21st Century Revolution (a free ebook) is a collection of essays about political change.

I have just finished a sequel to the Battle of Tomorrow called A Rebel Comes of Age about a group of homeless teenagers who occupy an abandoned building in Brooklyn and transform it into a teen homeless shelter.

I publish a left, green feminist blog at www.stuartbramhall.com, and have published a number of articles in Counterpunch and Dissident Voice. When I'm not writing, I'm busy changing the world as an active member of New Zealand's Green Party.
