AunTie’s_Miracles❤️

A story idea inspired by my favorite movie Inside Out: Tim is an older guy, but don’t you dare call him old. He’s a father to six young, rowdy kids, and his job is to maintenance the body of a 20 year old, beginner yoga student, aspiring track athlete and a professional room-pacer who likes to hang upside down on the couch… 
          
          Well, Tim’s done with it, and when he meets the lazy, lounging neighbor, he makes a plan to uproot his family and move out, but that’ll be anything but easy.

It’s been another crazy week. The eggs hatched Monday. One was a little late but he finally broke out. They were the tiniest little things I’ve ever seen! I’m so thankful for the response we got from one of the rescue shelters. They walked us through everything and even though we didn’t sleep, we got to take care of them for a day and a half before they were picked up. They told us we could always come by and check on them, but that’s a bit of a drive. Maybe this weekend. 
          
          Now I want to work at a wildlife facility. Anyway, fingers crossed for a healthy, fulfilling life for them. ❤️

Sometime this week I’m hoping I’ll have one or two stories up:
          
          Till We’re Old and Grey, a 2023 ONC, suspense, dark romance about 83-year-old Anita who fell in love with Russell when she was just 14.
          
          The Stars are Made of Metal, a 2025 ONC, science fiction novel about robots enslaving humans and the lengths a young woman will go to be free. 
          
          The two books that I loved and enjoyed writing. 
          
          Just a warning, these will be pretty, ugly rough drafts that’ll be up on this account until I finish them, and then I’ll slowly transition this account into more of a platform for children’s book; they were my first love and my happy place.

It’s been a hectic few months and to keep me even more busy, I recently became a foster mom to three tiny wren eggs. They’re about the size of a jellybean and they constantly need to be monitored. Sleep has literally flown out the window but I’m hoping that I can get back to reading and writing soon, even if it’s the roughest of rough drafts. For now I’m stuck in a cycle of monitoring and adjusting which has put me in an audiobooks-only phase.
          
          Fingers crossed we can find a nearby rescue because if/when they hatch we’d have to feed them every 15 to 20 minutes. And as one woman described, “it’s a nightmare”, and I think that’s what she does for a living. 
          
          What a fun way to start summer!
           

You would think hardship and loss would bring people together but I must’ve had my head in a book too long because they’re really talking about fighting at a memorial…
          I hope it doesn’t happen because my anxiety can’t handle this. And the guy who starts the mess tries to act all nice by hugging everyone. I’m too nice, how do I politely not hug him?

About nine days ago, I met the smallest little butterfly, he landed on the palm of my hands and showed me that even behind the darkest of clouds,  the light will always show.
          
          Look within the cracks,
          Those same cracks that’ll need a little breaking,
          Bigger and bigger they’ll grow until 
          You’re standing in the middle,
          
          The middle of hope,
          The middle of happiness, 
          
          Keep kindling that light,
          Watch it turn into a mountain,
          
          A mountain of milestones and memories,
          Blossoming and blossoming it will grow…

Lil Dam turns a week old today! The nurses dressed him up in little bunny ears and eggs around him. This was the longest week of my life, but the nurses call him their little tiger cub.

I’m looking for things to read.
          I want to read uplifting books but I’m afraid they’ll dive into sadness before they reach the happy stuff, and these clouds are all dried out, so I might jump down the rabbit hole of Romance for the first time… humor/comedy would be nice but they’re usually hard to get into.. any recommendations?

Please, pray for baby Damon and my sister.  He’s 17 weeks early. He’s fighting. 

I’m going dark over here. I don’t know for how long or if I’ll ever come back.
