Week two of ballet is in the books. I’m loving the journey so far, and as someone who hates receiving compliments, for many reasons, I’m taking it as growth in anything you put your mind to is possible and very rewarding; celebrate the small things, every little win, and be proud of yourself for all you’ve accomplished. ❤️

          	Also, happy Friday!

Plot twist: I went to my first ballet class yesterday, a twist I never saw coming. I’ve always loved dancing but I never batted an eye at ballet until one night, I clicked on a short and the algorithm has been feeding me since. I was obsessed with the strength and athleticism—the delicate elegance of movement. I love everything about it.

@lyttlejoe It was beautifully written! So realistic and driven with emotion. I’m also glad that you left the ending open because I want to think she didn’t take him back after all he put her through. I love, love, love how you wrote Angel’s part and showed just how torn she was. I hurt for her. I wanted to hug her and tell her how strong she is! ❤️ I’m glad Charlie changed but to think I was rooting for him at first only to see the bigger picture is what really stole my interest. Congratulations on completing the story!

August has always been my favorite month. This year, it carries a deeper meaning. This is my nephew’s birth month. I can’t even imagine how big he would’ve been.

In the last few months I have educated myself on different topics surrounding this and I now dream to help first time parents any way I can. I’ve also donated gift baskets to the NICUs I’ve visited in town and I try to connect with the parents when I can.

I’ve gotten into resin art and started dabbling with crocheting because of the NICU nurses.

It might’ve only been nine days, but I’ve learned so much in that short amount of time.

@OfficialTEGSA Hi! I had a little bump in the road that unmotivated me, but I occupied myself with making a cover and giving my book a title. I’ve also written chapter one and honestly, I’m feeling so much better. Thank you for making this contest! It’s so unique and fun. I would’ve joined last year but I hadn’t heard about it. And I’ve been reading some of the other books, it amazes me the amount of different stories that can come out of limited prompts.
