Just because the American election is over, doesn’t mean you’re getting rid of my and my opinionated ass. Australia still had a national election this year.
          
          We are notoriously known to follow what America does in terms of politics. We’ve already let David Crisafulli become QLD’s premier, that doesn’t mean we let Peter Dutton become our Prime Minister.
          
          He is essentially a shitty knock off of Trump, minus the terrible spray tan. His policies are bullshit cover ups for what they really are. The only thing he has ever done as opposition leader is oppose what the government is doing, he has come up with no feasible solutions to what he has disagreed with though.
          
          The liberal party are a bunch of mediocre conservatives, focused on privatising profit and socialising losses, lurching further right every year.
          
          I may not like Anthony Albanese but he is a lot better than Peter “We should have respect for the Indigenous flag and the Torres Strait Islander flag, but they are not our national flags” Dutton.
          
          He’s a fucking asshole with no ability to know what is and isn’t supposed to leave his tone deaf mind.
          
          A few months ago he said “While no one was killed during the 9 October protests, the events at the Sydney Opera House were akin to a Port Arthur moment in terms of their social significance.” HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU GOING TO COMPARE A MASSACRE TO PROTEST WTAF!?
          
          If you don’t know what Port Arthur is, it was a mass shooting in Tasmania, 1996. 35 were wounded and 23 were killed. That’s what made us change our gun laws.

Trump has been in office for less than 24 hours and already he has:
          - pardoned all people involved in the January 6th attack
          - declared a national emergency on the southern boarder, barring people from seeking asylum
          - declared that there are only two genders, male and female
          - withdrawn from the Paris Climate agreement
          - Stated that they are in a national energy crisis and that they are going to 'drill, baby, drill'
          - has ordered the withdrawl from the world health organisation 
          - the government website reproductiverights.gov went offline the night of his inauguration 
          
          Oh, and let's not even talk about Elon Musk's little choreography. I've seen people state that it's a roman salute...WHERE THE FUCK DO YOU THINK THE GERMAN'S GOT IT FROM? Fucking idiots should have paid attention in history.

Why are people so awful? I get that Israel has done some awful stuff but that doesn't mean we take our anger out on innocent people. Antisemitism shouldn't be an acceptable thing just because a GOVERNMENT decided to start a war. People practicing their religion shouldn't be blamed for something they have no control over.
