Ooh yeah I meant to mention this last weeeeeeeeeeek
          
          We’ve decided not to go for the global round for scholars cup which is sad but then again we have no idea what we’re doing and lowkey the six of us can’t afford to miss school at all in August 
          
          The main problem is the expense, tickets to Malaysia is expensive enough plus there’s a fee to participate and for food, tours, and accommodation 
          
          Wayyy too much
          
          Then again the problem of missing like a week of school, since it would only bring grief to our teachers and blah blah
          
          One of my friends is in the GATE program, and im in HPL, along with my two teammates,  so for the four of us missing a week- eek it’s hard enough doing yr 7 and 8 at the same time :cue the sad face that won’t work on Wattpad:
          
          I honestly wanted to go really badly but at the same time it’s just not worth it cause I doubt we’ll get into the TOC round at Yale (im also not keen to go to America no offence to anyone who’s from there)
          Cause yk ice heard interesting things about ICE and islamohobes idk if I spelt that right I need sleep
          Plus yk I wear the hijab and im not looking forward to being harassed over it (if rumours are true smh)

I’m quite literally falling asleep as I write this but:
          
          I decided to read pathological people pleaser by someone (I forgot the dang user) on ao3 (because I’ve literally only read atyd and cr, planning to read the art heist thing after this)
          
          Anyways yeah I’m on the start of regulus’s pov in chapter five and omgsss 
          
          Of a character is like depressed or just sad I hug my book, my kindle, my phone even my laptop on rare occasions 
          
          Like I live for angst but when someone is actually sad because of someone else I’m literally going to kidnap said characters and give them a happy ending (im looking at crimson rivers rn)

          Is there a sequel to crimson rivers because i kid you not i need more of James and regulus and wolfstar. (Wolfstar is what got me into marauder oop)

Another random announcement
          
          My best friends came up with a nickname, Ammy, for me
          
          So im called that everyday (as well as Alzheimers bum crack but that’s a different story)
          
          SO WHENEVER THEY SAY “Amnaaaaa” or “Amna” or even in text “amna.”
          
          IM GENUINELY SCARED FOR MY LIFE
          
          like did i forgot an important thing or do they want something
          
          I’m so used to Ammy im scared of my own name

So im in this school chat, and a lot of the boys in there are from my primary school last year
          
          They were arguing about some random thing, and that’s when I realised
          
          Scrolling through past chats, if a girl says something about what they did/have, the boys call her a sweat/try hard/grinder whatever
          
          But when a boy says something about their achievement, everyone applauds them
          
          Which got me thinking
          
          Why is it us? Why are we the “try hards”
          
          It makes no sense, because women and men are equal, both can achieve the same thing
          
          A man can become a cleaner, or care taker, caterer, which are thought to be “women’s jobs”
          
          A woman can become a part of the army, a police officer or work with machinery, which are thought to be “men’s jobs”
          
          Feminism is the men = women
          Not men < women
          
          
          ANYWAYS
          Yeah it got me thinking, because I’ve seen a bunch of things about the Sydney Sweeney soap and Bonnie blue and all that 
          Women had to fight to earn rights, POC had to fight to earn rights, the world should be equal 
          
          
          And if you disagree, feel free to debate over this because imo this is a basic mindset that most people should have

I think this is by far the worst Eid I’ve ever had
          The day hasn’t even properly started and I’m just sitting here and crying into my pillow
          
          We’re not going to the prayer not going to get the food and we’re not going to friends houses
          
          I hate this Eid

im really not looking forward to next week honestly because I think I have a test in every single dang subject except for sport, science (unsure) and English and Auslan 
          I have a math test, hass, textiles, art, health, tests 
          
          Possibly another Auslan one in week 9
          
          I’m pretty sure I have a test everyday if not multiple everyday
          
          I haven’t even studied ;-;
