When a girl is bored, she tries to find her ancestors 
          Sadly, my culture messes everything up (the kids take the fathers first name as their last, instead of the dads last name being the family name)
          
          It’s extremely confusing, especially since I don’t know my father’s parents’ names
          
          Apparently my grandmother (mums side) has a family book with everyone on that side in it, including me and my brother
          Unfortunately that book is also written in Malayalam, which I can’t read anymore (mother tongue, English has possessed me)
          
          I’m also Indian so most websites have like records of the US and UK
          
          Sighhhhh, I’ll probably force my mum to translate the family tree book when we visit Qatar next month? idk
          
          I do come from relatively large families from ‘popularish’ parts of India (Kozhikhode/Kuttiyadi on dads side, Veliancode/Veliyankode on mums) so it’s surprising that there aren’t any public records that I’m aware of

          A group of Christians/Muslims/or anything other religion does not define the entire religion. 
          Yes, the man from not without my daughter is a terrible person and Muslim
          Yes, my father is a terrible person and Muslim
          Yes, the Taliban are terrible people and Muslim
          THEY DO NOT DEFINE ISLAM. Not without my daughter may or may not be true, but it doesn’t define Islam
          
          Those Christians who spread Bible verses can be disrespectful, and not define Christianity as a whole.
          
          I can be Muslim and respect LGBTQIA+ my teacher is non binary, I have friends who are queer. (In real life btw)
          I respect them, and one bad person who’s LGBTQIA+ doesn’t define everyone as a whole
          
          And the American situation. I know people regret voting for Donald Trump. Is America great yet? No.
          ICE is horrible. 
          Immigrants are not aliens. They are people.
          
          In Australia, I don’t think racism is extremely bad, but there were protests against Immigration. I witnessed one. As an Indian (born and raised in Qatar) who moved tk Australia to escape my father, I will forever be grateful for the people I met when I was nine. They helped me in ways not many would understand.
          
          Those protests were held by white Australians. This land belonged to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. You learn this in year FOUR, the First Fleet invaded Australia.

          My dad is abusive, he’s ‘kidnapped’ my brother and I on multiple occasions (my parents live separately, but we were told we had to go with him for a few hours just to make sure he didn’t get mad, he forced us to stay overnight threatened to slap me blah blah)
          
          He is Muslim. He has told us not to go to madrasah (Islamic school, you learn more about the religion and read the Quran) he sucks and I hate him. 
          
          He does not define the religion.
          
          There’s another thing I want to address. SOME (SOME) Christians think it’s alright to say “God bless you.” “May God guide you.” To people who believe in a different religion/or atheists. I think it’s disrespectful, and a TikTok comment section is certainly not the place to spread the Bible. 
          If I started saying “Allah will guide you.” to random teenagers I’ve never met, they will think it’s disrespectful since they do not believe in Allah.
          
          Ok I got off topic, Islamophobia is getting to insane levels. People are hating on Zohran Mamdani, because he is Muslim. The guy is not going to force you to cover up, relax. He wouldn’t be following the Quran’s teachings, if he forced you to unwillingly put on a hijab.
          Oh and, ICE is complete bs, I watched a guy have a seizure in a car and the cops did NOTHING.
          
          Going back to Trump and his supporters. Kirk died like idk a few months ago? I saw comments saying they threw up watching the video of his death, Dean Walters or something forgot his last name cried about it
          
          As the curious child I am, I watched it. I felt nothing. Why should I feel sympathetic for a man who died believing that rpe victims should keep the child. The same day a school shooting happened.

Not sure if everyone knows this, but I’m Muslim
          So this is just going to be a rant idk how long so buckle up?
          
          Obviously I have TikTok, obviously i know about Sudan, Palestine, Congo, the new mayor of NYC, and all the Islamophobia (I really need to get this out of my system)
          
          And look, I’ll be sympathetic towards Israeli children but I could not care less about the soldiers who die killing Palestinians (unless they were a teenager who was forced to fight Gaza or ykwim)
          
          I do not feel empathy towards the UAE, and the Dubai chocolate isn’t even that good (unless it’s homemade like I made it) except for small children
          
          I don’t know much about Congo yet, just that Rwanda is killing them. Again, no empathy there, except for small children
          
          As for Zohran Mamdani, I’m not American, I’m not educated much about all the bad presidents you’ve had (I know TRUMP was in the Epstein files and he is a known fugitive, shame on all of those people who voted him)
          Mamdani is apparently Muslim? I’m not sure if that’s a confirmed fact, and yea it’s hilarious seeing Muslim Americans joking about the Islamic Republic of New York, New Yorkistan, Al-Manhattan etc etc
