The steaming water sit in the bathtub
Candles lit, lights off
Her fragile fingers touch the mirror softly
The words traced themselves,

FUCK LIFE

The bottle gripped in one hand, half emptied in the other
Down her tightened throat they glide.
She drops into the water, fully clothed
The hot water immediately relaxes tensed muscles.

She lays back, staring in front of her.
Thoughts cloud her head, the negative voices screaming.
She envied the happy girls, but what she didn't realize was that happiness didn't exist, though she soon found out.

It was quite sad, by the time ones attention is gotten, its too late.
Never would she have thought that her life would end so soon.

Her future is what kept her alive, but being told constantly that a future wouldn't exist gave her nothing to live for.
Anxiety got the best of her, paranoia kicking in.

She needed mental stability, but mental stability she did not receive.
The world around her was not taken into consideration for the demons in her head took over.
Constantly being told the worst she went insane.
Every Time she closed her eyes she saw a deceased version of herself, and her family gathered around to mourn.

Her suicide played out over and over and over, and she couldn't take it; she had gone insane.

So she lay there in the boiling water, fully clothed and drooping eyes.
A dangerous amount of medicine filled her system, so she soon faded out.

The candle was metaphorical.
Just like life, it starts out as a flame.
The fire is there, but after being blown on constantly it starts to burn out.
Just like the flame, she starts to die out.

She lays there with drooping eyes, red skin from the water and retro music playing.
Her last thoughts consist of what could have been. And just like the metaphorical flame, she starts to fade away; no one there to light her back up.
