          	I wanted to post an announcement here on The House on Harbor Road.
          	
          	I've decided to put the story on a temporary hiatus. My goal is to try and keep the story as realistic and authentic as possible, and I've realized I'm writing a little too far ahead of real life for my comfort. Rather than continue making assumptions about future events, I'd rather give the story some time so I can stay true to the realism that's so important to me.
          	
          	This isn't me abandoning the story—I absolutely plan to come back to it. I just want to make sure that when I do, I can write it the way I originally envisioned.
          	
          	Thank you all so much for reading, commenting, voting, and supporting this story. Your encouragement means a ton, and I can't wait to continue Patrick and Ellen's journey when the time is right.

Hey guys! 
          Wanted to post on here for a quick minute to possibly get some feedback on something. I originally was not planning another dempeo story so soon after finishing "The Missing Chapters" and instead started my merder fic. However -- I have become kind of caught up in an idea for a new dempeo story and would like to put it on here but not sure if I should do so while my newest one is still ongoing. I guess my question is: better to hold off on the new one until the current one is finished, or work on both at once? The only hangup with both at once is just that I probably won't be able to do daily chapter updates on both, so they might have to alternate. 
          Feel free to share your opinions with me! Otherwise, I'll just decide

@subtextstudio Honestly, i’m leaning towards the dempeo fic. There so much merder fic already (though yours is more amazing). We need MORE dempeo fic!! Plus, it will be easier for you if you’ll only update one story.

Ok… I have to ask! Do you work in film/tv or are you just great at research? The terminology you are using is crazy accurate! Also Moonshadows  loved that place.

I do think it will end up getting a lot of views! Sometimes it just takes a bit to grab an audience. Especially in a genre that's not always so well written!!  And I bet you could write a heck of a screenplay! Still time!

@theserialromantic Wow that's so cool! In my younger years I always wanted to be a screenwriter but...life lol. I appreciate you taking the time to read and giving feedback! I really just started this story for fun and it has turned into a bigger project than I anticipated  but I'm enjoying doing it so it means a lot that you enjoy reading!
