author’s note / life update
wow. this year is almost over and that feels… unreal.
on the writing side of things, a lot has happened. i published my first book Check & Chase (still wild to say that), finished book two Playing Defense, and it officially comes out on Amazon February 3rd, 2026 (!!). i’ve also been working on book three in the series—tyler’s book—and things are actually going really well in that department, which i’m super grateful for.
on the personal side, this year came with some stuff i didn’t expect. i was diagnosed with a chronic illness that honestly put a hard pause on a lot of my life and made me pretty sick for a while. i’m still waiting on some test results for other things, and yeah—my body hurts, everything hurts—but i’m okay. taking it day by day.
so if i’m a little here, there, and everywhere… or not here at all sometimes, that’s why. i promise i haven’t disappeared and i’m not giving up on these stories or on you. i just have to listen to my body a bit more than i used to.
thank you for being here, for reading, for supporting me through all of this. it means more than i can put into words
