Just curious: I would assume you’re not working on the Wendy Fairy anymore? I remember loving it.

sultal

@KaitlinBolander Hi - thank you for asking. Right now I am not working on Wendy Fairy, but it is on my list. I've been asked by SO many people to finish the Fantasia Series, so I'm committed until then. However, The Wendy Fairy, The Dr. Who Story, and Devil Incarnates are next in line for completion.

Thank you again for being devoted to the story! I WISH WISH I was a full time writer, but I always write when I get a free chance.

Remember me? I was utterly shocked to see that you were recently active on here. I have thought of you often over the years <3 If you find time, I would love to reconnect

sultal

@HeartOfGold7 Hey! Sorry I just got off vacation! Are you still on deviant art? The messaging system on Wattpad just ended (of course), but deviant should still be active.

Of course I remember you, dude how are you? Still writing? Haha yes recent is both an understatement and overstatement, but I’ve been writing all the while with our Gang of Four Disney characters. Life is life, so it’s not as often as I want, but it’s always a priority in the background (if that makes sense).

I’d love to reconnect, let’s go.

Have you seen the Disney short, ‘Once Upon A Studio’? It’s amazing ✨

GL4M0RG4L

@sultal Sorry, experiencing rainy season ️. Might not have heard you.

The interactions, the tribute and the get-together in the end fit so well.

Didn’t you hear me scream when Jim sailed his solar surfer alongside Sisu?

Yes! I think it scratched the crossover itch that fanfic writers have been trying to relieve for YEARS. About time Disney!

Keeping Fantasia readers: I FINALLY found a Gwen Pan song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flV7ZcRIoq0

I actually LOVE writing Gwen. I think she represents those who feel lost, but keep toiling through the motions because they're perfectionists. This song represents the lack of meaning in her life, which will be slowly changed by the Guardians, Jak, and Melody.

Otherwise, I'm back on the writing wagon. I actually took a student these last 4 weeks and BOY did I feel like Wendy teaching her shadow classes! Lots of hard work, but very rewarding!

My brother introduced this new (previously unreleased) song from our fave rock band. After listening to it a few times, this song somehow reminds me of what Jim was like back in Taking Fantasia and the 1st prequel. Even with his personal growth developing, the struggles he faced in the past are still lingering within him.

Ooo I love Linkin Park and after listening to this song 276 times, this resonates Jim!

Tons of lyrics just hit home with Jim:
            “Living inside my confusion.”
“Trying to keep this pain inside.”

I also love the overall idea that when the is alone, he can’t live with his demons. It speaks to why he needed Wendy as a friend - why they “needed each other to survive” day to day.

Omg thank you so much for sharing! Music is hugely inspirational for my writing and my character development!

            Keep the songs coming !!!

ATTENTION WATTPAD: I AM GOING ON VACATION FOR 2 WEEKS.

(Trumpets ring - champagne pops - Kool & The Gang starts singing)

Interestingly, I should have some time to write during 12 hour drive to SC, then back. However, most of the time I'll be on the high seas, so there's no way for me to post.

IDEALLY, I'll have at least 1 chappie to post when I return.

In the meantime, stay well, be kind to each other, and keep writing.

Happy Winter Solstice (Jim's Birthday)!
I'm halfway through a Christmas Story, which will be released on Christmas Eve.

I will post a few chapters, then keep posting into the New Year (ending around Jan 11th, if everything goes well).

After MUCH deliberation, I decided to write a Christmas Story for the Fantasia Series. This is something I was going to write anyway, AND it fits into my current position in Keeping Fantasia.

This Christmas Story is JAK'S ADVENTURE TO RESCUE SMIGVARD, NESSIE AND LOCH FROM OOGIE BOOGIE. Much like the Disney "star wars mini series" this story is going to give information about Keeping Fantasia events.

Again, I was going to write it anyway, but it's nice that it lands right around xmas.

No worries -- I still have my Wendy and Sweet P storyboard ready to go! That's next on the "writing during lunch" list ;)

Anyway -- enjoy the winter solstice. I'm actually going to the Little Mermaid Musical tonight. So it feels very magical.

keep writing -- see you via a story on Christmas Eve!

@officalponyboycurtis
            1. My first recommendation would be: Don't become a doctor of physical therapy, because having a job REALLY eats away at your time and screws up your deadlines HAHAHHA.

            But in all honesty:

            2. STORYBOARD. If you map out your story, chapter by chapter, it is easier to stay on target. I use bullet points, that seems to help.

            3. Act out scenes that you are stuck on. When I get lost in character dialogue, I will pretend to be the characters, and act out the scene. This makes it easier for me to progress a conversation or chapter naturally...the characters just sorta "come out."

(I've been caught by s.o. so many times, acting out a scene at my desk. He's like "Who is Wendy?" and I'm like uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh nooooooo one....)

            4. Just Keep Swimming. --- If you miss a deadline, don't take that as a failure. I deal with that a lot. Having a full time job, a s.o., a puppy, a family, hobbies etc etc....it is mentally PUNISHING when I miss deadlines. BUT -- I had to get over that. Don't give up. Just write a little here, a little there, and you will find the chapter fleshes out.

Hope this helps!!! Thank you again for your encouragement, your enthusiasm, and as always, KEEP WRITING!
