Gist of a story:
The story might seem a simple sweet short story but has a lot of meanings. It was made with a purpose of humour
- Main focus:
One of the main focus in this story is on 5:45.
The number 4 represents death while 5 represents love. 45 = death + love = betrayal. Therefore the meaning behind 5:45 become love: betrayal.
Another focus I wanted to put was on human behaviour with rumour. In the story the actual incident was that the boy doesn't accept her so she murders him. But as the rumour went on, it changed to, of you get the letter you are dead. Therefore all rumours have something important missing.
- Characters:
The name of the main character is Asty. If you break it to 'A' and 'sty' then it becomes 'A Pen' as sty is the synonym of pen. The boy in this story is called Bestove. The word 'bestov' means lend. And the last, Selfina hides the meaning of 'self' which is me. If you set perfectly the names of the characters the you will get "Lend Me A Pen".
