I am alive!! 
          
          I completely missed my 8th Wattpad Anniversary on January 23rd lmao so I didn’t make my yearly anniversary speciality post which includes some mutual mentions as well so apologies everyone for missing that!! 
          
          2026 has already been a lot for me and it’s only march lmao 
          I’ve been dealing with some health issues that have been ongoing since October ‘25 that changes im severity. My doctors are trying to figure out the problem and what’s going on so it can finally be full treated and go away lol 
          
          Anyway, i just wanted to pop on here for a little proof of life post lol! 
          Followers, i wanna give a huge thank you to everyone still following me and being patient with me due to the lack of updates on any of my fanfics. 
          
          I want to make it known!! I am not leaving wattpad, i have no interest in leaving wattpad, I am staying, i promise!!! 

Since its the new year I wanted to introduce myself for any new faces!! 
          
          I’m Merlin, my pronouns are he/they. I am very gay (asexual lesbian) but I’m also exploring internally my sexuality and while simultaneously exploring my gender identity internally. 
          
          I do not like feminine nicknames so please stick to masculine ones, certain friends could have a privilege to use them but do not use them unless you have been given permission by me. 
          
          I am physically disabled and have been since birth, I encourage you to RESPECTFULLY ask questions about my disability if you have some. My other social media accounts are in my bio so that’s how you can DM me. 
          
          I only write about LGBTQIA+ couples, every single one of my books are LGBTQIA+ and I write a lot of representation. The reason for writing only these stories is because growing up I didn’t read any books that had any LGBTQIA+ representation then once I started reading fanfiction I hardly saw representation there too so when I made my wattpad account (January 23rd, 2018 BTW!!!) because I wanted to start writing fanfic I knew that I had to make the representation if no one else was going too. 
          Not only that but I am writing that same experiences I have had in my life. 
          
          Final thing I’m going to say in this message is this: Free Palestine, Free Congo, Free Iran, Free Sudan, Free Lebanon, Free Myanmar, Free Manipur India, Free Hawai’i, Free Ukraine, Free Uyghurs in China, Free Nigeria, Free Iraq, Free Yemen, Free Syria, Free Afghanistan, Free Haiti, Free the Republic of Chad in Central Africa, Free Qatar, and Freedom for All. 
          
          While I’m at it, Fuck ICE, Fuck the Police, Fuck Saudi Arabia, Fuck Trump, Fuck Billionaires, and Fuck Millionaires. 
          
          If you don’t agree with any of that, FUCK YOU TOO!! 
          
          If you didn’t realize my political stance by now, that’s on you because I have not been silent and I will never been silent. 
          
          The least I can do is be a voice for the voiceless, and that’s what I’m trying to do.

I don’t know if anyone noticed but in December I completely removed and deleted “Please Dont Let Go” which was a Chrissy Cunningham fic from my account. 
          With the new season of Stranger Things out I knew it was the best time to make the announcement that I am no longer supporting and consuming any Stranger Things content. 
          
          Why? Let me tell you, the cast, creators, and the producers are complied of fierce zionists and anyone consuming and supporting Stranger Things is supporting the zionists who in turn are supporting Israel. Not to mention some of the themes in the franchise are zionist propaganda and some of the themes are taken from the occupation. 
          
          So now my account has no fanfics in the Stranger Things Franchise and I will not write anything in that franchise. 

I shared this on my instagram stories and I wanted to share my health update here as well. 
          
          Since the first week of November i’ve had a bunch of health issues which caused me to be in a hospital setting 5 different times (they were hours at a time and i was under anesthesia 2 of them which puts your immune system to sleep) because of that and due to a sample that was taken during one of those anesthesia events it showed i have a respiratory infection.
          
          My Mom now works in a school setting which means she got sick in October, she got better.
          Unfortunately she’s sick again because of my respiratory infection, because my Mom works my Dad is my primary caregiver so he’s sick too.
          
          I have preexisting respiratory conditions because of the disability I was born with so I’m susceptible to sickness in general but very susceptible to respiratory illnesses. 
          
          I have amazing doctors treating me who I’ve been patients since I was 5 so I’m in good hands, now I’m just waiting for the antibiotic to start working. 

I wanted to announce because I haven’t yet but I have deleted spotify, an action that has been a long time coming. I’m now using QOBUZ, they pay the artists fairly and they don’t air ICE and IOF ads. The switch was very easy, I recommend doing it if you haven’t already, I’m going to share a link to the method I used to switch everything over. 

Someone tell me to not change my steve rogers fancast to bradley james, the need is so high right omg. Not to mention it would be arthur and merlin in another universe…
