a bit of a sad update:
          
          my stepdad passed away on august 22nd.
          as a family we’re not doing so well, but we’re getting through it. the odds were never that great for him and a part of us knew this would happen but a loss is a loss regardless.
          
          all things considered, i’ve decided i will be leaving the wp writing community indefinitely. i will keep my profile/keep reading ig, but i will no longer be writing anything. the joy of it is just no longer there. 
          
          hope y’all have had a better summer than me lmao

hi everyone, i know i’ve been gone for quite a while…for those who don’t know, my stepdad was diagnosed with cancer in april and we’ve been struggling since then as a family.
          
          about a month ago we thought we were in the clear and that he’d be okay, but this week his health has suddenly deteriorated and it spread…well, everywhere.
          
          he’s currently in the ICU and there’s not much that the doctors can do, we’re literally waiting on a miracle.
          
          that’s why i’m writing this right now, asking everyone to please pray for him and keep him in your thoughts.
