hello lovelies ! 
          
          when people say second yr will drain you of everything, they were NOT lying. the reading week was not a break. in fact it was a week of all nighters. but i will say it’s made me miss writing smmmmmmm. 
          
          best believe i have been looking at my folder with all the chapters for Polaris like a grieving widow. 
          
          I MISS IT SO BAD. 
          
          i hope to get enough time to update consistently cos my baby is starting to get cobwebs. we cannot have that.

          uni is killing me and my will to live but i have managed to edit chapter nine between classes and independent studying soooo i hope to get it out by sunday! chapter ten will follow shortly after.

hey lovelies! just had my first big girl moment at an event thing for a place i’m hoping to do an internship at and my god. i’m not built for this life. i just am not. 
          
          was so nervous i made a joke with the security guard and, let me just say, he did NOT find it funny :( come on man. don’t embarrass me like that
          
          sidenote! sorry for the delay with polaris :( i’ve just been busy with prepping and what not for said internship(s) and haven’t gotten round to editing the chapters. bit worried ive burnt myself out a lil bit BUT I WILL PERSEVERE ! i love this book. i love my babies in this book. i will not abandon my children. 
          
          i think not putting a deadline on updates will help soothe that especially with everything going on now. so i will be updating when i can rather than on a set date (let’s be real tho i was never posting on time anyways).

Polaris update! 
          
          Hello you lovely people. I’ve finally been feeling better (yay I can actually eat real food now!), meaning I’ve made progress with chapters nine, ten, and I started doing eleven today yippee!!!
          
          Still, there are a few things I want to make solid with the plot moving forward because there are some terms that I cannot mess up. And, because this is a mystery thriller, I’ve gotta make sure I’ve got all my pieces in the right spots! 
          
          Soooo I will be posting chapters nine, ten, AND eleven in a week and a bit. YIPPPEEEEE!!!  
          
          Also, a little warning, for the upcoming chapters. There will be scenes that go into graphic detail on corpses, violence , and well, death. I will put a warning in the chapter too but just a little heads up! 
          
          
          
          (do want to mention that I will be returning to university in two weeks (kill me now) so there will be a change in my nonexistent updating schedule.)
          
          

Polaris! I am afraid chapter nine won’t be coming out today again becos i have yet to stop feeling ill. like staring at my laptop for too long makes me wanna throw up (yay love doing that btw it’s so fun). i’m so sorry!!! i hate not having my shit together but i will try my best to get it out by either monday or tuesday. 
          
          idk what the freak the restaurant i ate at did to my stomach but my god i literally feel like death (no like actually ive been having issues with my stomach for a good while now so this is NOT fun at all). 
          
          also another thing to mention, the next few chapters of the book will be shorter! which honestly some people might love but yea the long chapters will be disappearing for a lil while (btw short for me is like 3000 words) 
          
          anyways that is all. sorry my dears :(

You know how I said this Sunday? Yeah, I've been combing through 21 pages of this chapter, and I still have yet to see the light. 
          
          If I take any longer than a day to update, I'll be sure to make up for it. This chapter is very long. 
          
          I will say it's been the most fun to write so far tho! 
          
          Anyways, I aim to get this out by tmrw, but if not, then you'll get it next Sunday with chapter nine!
