@sunkissedmodel ⠀      ⠀ *ryans face was quick to flush red from embarrassment. while he has understood what she was originally trying to say ,, he at times still acted immature during situations like this. he chewed on his lower lip ,, preventing himself from laughing. he didn’t want to make her feel worse ,, while acknowledging her nervous bantering* ⠀      ⠀ no i mean — i understand what you mean .. plus that was my teammate who threw that at you ,, so if anything he’s the one who needs to keep his balls away from peoples faces — yeah that probably made this conversation worse . i appreciate the support of us making it to nationals though . *before continuing he had noticed that she quickly made her way out of the gymnasium. even without her presence ,, he still felt that awkward tension lingering around the gym* .. that was odd . 

@mightypucks   (… )      as  he  would  make  his  way  closer  to  her,  minimizing  the  space  between  them.    sloane  would  begin  too  ramble  nervously,  her  cheeks  a-flamed with  color.   ‘‘… hmm,  well  I’d  say  from  the  way  your  ball  almost  took  me  out.  you  could  definitely  use  some  practice..  i-  wait  that  sounded  dirty,  i-  just  mean  if  you  want  i  could  help  you  not  direct  your  balls  into  someone’s  face..  okay, that was worse..  um,  I’m  probably  just  going  to  go,  you’ll  definitely  make  it  too  nationals,  don’t  fret  too  much  over  it  ’’   quickly  throwing  her  bag  over  her  shoulder,  embarrassed  with  herself,  she’d  make  a  quick  exit.   ‘‘  stupid, stupid.. what the hell was that sloane?’’ she quietly  scolded  on  her  way  out  the  door. 

@sunkissedmodel ⠀      ⠀ huh .. that’s a bummer then — though it makes sense considering i’d remember a face like yours .. *he went over to reach for the ball that laid on the gymnasium floor; he sneakers squeaking against the polished floor. romero then approaches the girl,, giving her his full attention at the moment* ⠀      ⠀ well i would think my reasoning for being here is somewhat obvious .. i’m practicing here. ⠀      ⠀ volleyball season is returning and I just wanna make sure that i am /still/ on my ‘A’ game . ⠀      ⠀ i honestly think that my team and i can make it to nationals .
