@Sunflower_wishes I asked my friends for things that will engage the reader (they hate reading) some suggestions they said was mystery, drama, tension. I had to rewrite a whole entire chapter because I wasn’t satisfied with it.

But a thing they also said something that can engage the CHARACTERS in the book were money, benefits, pleasure. Before I ask them that, I already added a mystery character in the book where the reader will just have to guess who’s the liar. So I’m getting progress on it.

I asked you on how to make the chapters longer because I felt like my chapters were too short. I felt like if the chapters were too short they could zoom through the book and I didn’t add enough detail, or time is going to fast in the book, you know? (Or it could just be me being a fast reader) That’s what I’m focusing on right now.

Ask as many questions as you want! I'm super happy I get to help :)

I feel your pain with Grammarly. I wish I could get the Premium version, but my parents won't let me. I tend to watch for the little yellow circle and when the number gets higher, I try and fix my mistake unless I can't find it or it's a dumb suggestion.
I tend to get an average of 90 for my overall performance. I think it's because I've been writing for so long and I'm just used to how Grammarly thinks.
But yes, serving to do better is a great way to get better! As long as you don't push yourself too hard, it's a very efficient way to get better at something.

From my personal experience with reading and writing books, the ones that have a unique aspect to them usually draw the reader's attention more. Also, if you add in something that will make the reader go "wait, what??" then they will defiantly want to stick around and continue reading to find out their answer.
Cliffhangers are a great way to do that, but you obviously can't make every chapter a cliffhanger. Instead, you can add in some sort of mystery that the readers will get hints on the more they read.

I hope this is all making sense <3

Hello, I’m back. :) <3 It’s ok for the late updates, I don’t mind!

I’m currently struggling with a title, and I don’t know if my writing is too wordy, or just doesn’t make sense if you know what I mean??

@Neptune8649 Hi! School is just tiring, you know?

            Also, I understand.
Sometimes if you make sentences too long, it could seem "unprofessional" (even though this is Wattpad and we're literally writing fanfics) and wordy sentences are hard to read.
I would recommend reading them out loud, and if it doesn't sound right while saying it, it won't sound right while reading it. Also, if it takes more than a breath to read a sentence, that means it's probably too long and you might wanna shorten it.

As for the title, just have fun with it. Titles are supposed to bring the reader in and hint at what the book is about.
For instance, "Horns and Halos" is about angels and devils. If I were to name the book something like "Soulmates and Secrets" (which was an actual thought for the book title at one point) then you would have no idea the book was about angels and devils until you read the description.

            I hope this helps :)

Your book is very unique and I think it’s pretty cool, I’ve never seen this type of AU before! :)

What powers would you like to have in your Horns and Halos book?

sunnyalliums

@Neptune8649 Thank you! I just mashed a lot of AUs together to create Horns and Halos. I really enjoy fantasy and putting it with a Fandom I really love made it more special.

As for your question, I don't know.
I've used so many powers already and there are more to come, so I don't know any I would like having in my book
