it’s honestly easier for me to write original scenes because for canon i gotta go back and watch the show/look at scripts </3 but as a reader i love reading bothhhhhh

original scenes for me. when it comes to canon scenes i always spend more time wracking my brain about how i can fit my oc into the scene in a way that makes sense than actually writing the scene. now i just prefer to add a sprinkle of canon to my original scenes!!

slowly but surely guys!! the second half has been fleshed out for months, now it’s just the middle part i gotta worry about

this is actually one of the most tedious chapters because it’s literally all canon episode moments …. gag me with a spoon! 

jonathan byers. with divorced parents, a deadbeat dad and a mom barely making ends meet, thinks proposing to nancy wheeler, with emotionally unavailable parents in a loveless marriage, would fix their relationship issues? in the middle of their search for vecna in the upside downification of hawkins? yeah please dpmo. 

we’re gonna skip over the fact that he donated one of nancy’s sweaters to goodwill because he hates the color pink. not even a sweater nancy gifted him, but it’s her OWN sweater. and like the suckiest part is that i don’t even think this is necessarily too out of character, i just think it’s weird that he did that but i digress
