ALSO i just wanted to apologize for my inactivity and my lack of updates etc - i miss writing so much but i don’t seem to have any motivation to write anything or i get motivated and nothing comes out. writers block SUCKS. i hope i can get out of this funk because i truly have so many ideas:/

can we as a society stop acting like emila perez was the best movie ever created???? how it got so many award nominations is beyond me
& the director said he didn’t need to do any research bc he “knows everything he needs to know,” filmed a movie set in mexico IN FRANCE, the god awful accents and scripts and songs, the awful mexican stereotypes, the transphobic moments… like how much did netflix pay for all these nominations???
the fact that the director said he didn't inform himself about mexico because, according to him, he already knew what he should know is a joke. the whole film is a joke
