I know you said you want to expand from ATLA fics so maybe this is kind of a moot point but I've been putting a lot of effort into my ATLA fic recently, especially the latest chapters, and it hasn't gotten much attention, I think mainly because they are OCS instead of the gaang. Regardless I'd be intrigued to know what you think about it!

I think it would be so fun to write a fic…. But I haven’t done any creative writing in a HOT MINUTE lol.  I’ve been inspired by all the atla fics I’ve been reading :D yall are amazing 
          
           I’m pretty sure I read a story like this but forget who…. But I think it would be fun to do the pirate crew member joins gaang.  
          
          pirates of the Caribbean and Atla are like my two favorite things and it would be fun to somehow combine the two universes and main character eventually ends up on the pirate crew in Atla.
