Hello all!! This is a shoutout to all the wonderful writers!!
          
          I am a silent reader and a critic and editor for some writers! I have read over 500 books on Wattpad and one of my favourite category is fan fiction that too MANAN FFs, I might have read hundreds of them!! We have amazing writers who write brilliant books and give a new perspective to one of the most loved couple! I really respect u all and your hardwork that u put in and give the readers such amazing piece of works that to for free!! Hats off to u guys!! But I just have one contention with most of the writers(not all), that why do u have to show the female protagonist a weak character!! Just now I read a book and the female was portrayed as the damsel in distress who needs the hero to save her!! Don't u think that in today's world where women empowerment is one of the major global agenda even we should contribute something to it, and I don't think that portraying females as weak souls is a way! Why does every time when a guy other than that lady's boyfriend/husband touches her she starts feeling that she is "impure" and then it is the guy who proves her wrong usually by making love to her!! I mean why does the female have to be weak can't she stand for herself, can't she tell the world that no one has that authority to make her "impure", can't she be strong enough to collect herself, why is it that always the male has to make her believe in herself!! I myself being a girl completely understand how traumatic such experiences are but that doesn't mean that I start to question myself!! 
          
          I just feel that instead of portraying the girl as weak, we should show her bravery and courage so that the readers form a strong view of the female gender!!! I totally respect everyone's writing skills and choice but I think in today's times we should do our bit to empower women and eradicate the stereotype of damsel in distress!!
