          	To my fellow readers,

Two years ago in late November, I had downloaded Wattpad. And within these twenty-four months, I can honestly tell you that my life has literally changed.

Now, I already know what your thinking; “An app changed your life? Really? Aren’t you being a little dramatic?”

Well...no. I’m really not. Over the past two years, my reading and writing skills have grown tremendously. And trust me, my English grades are very thankful. But that’s not what I’m talking about.

I’m talking about you guys. My followers.

School has always been a little rough for me. And as I try to navigate through my junior year of high school, the challenges that I often face seem to be presenting themselves as much as ever. But one thing that I’ve always had, something to fall back on, was you guys. I’ve met a community of people who share the same interests as I do. And yes, we all enjoy comics, and like to watch dc related shows, but often times I find it goes deeper then that. Some people like soccer, while others talk about their dogs, and others enjoy art. Even people who I have nothing in common with, but get to interact to in comments, always bring a smile to my face. I have even created a few friendships, which trust me, isn’t a term that I use lightly.

I have even come to find that I have become an inspiration to a select few. People have messaged me saying that they want to write like I do, or ask for advice on a story they’ve been working hard on. And never within a million years, would I have ever thought I would be an inspiration to anyone or anything. And you have no idea how incredibly honored and humbled I feel.

At this point, I know I may seem as though I’m bragging, although their couldn’t be anything farther from my true intentions. I’m also aware that I’m not receiving a Nobel-Prize, and this isn’t where I stand on stage and practically thank the entire world for about twenty minutes. But as the two year mark rolls around, I feel as though it is fitting to put my true feelings out there.

And so, I would like to thank you. Thank you to the people who have just joined, or for those who have stuck by me, even though I have disappeared for months at a time. Thank you to everyone who has commented, criticized, or messaged me. Thank you for reading my stories, and most of all, thank you for being you. And I know this app isn’t a big deal to some, but it is for me. Because after a particularly bad day, this is where I come to smile. Talking and connecting to each and every one of you has gotten me through some of the single toughest moments of my life. And for that, I will always be grateful.

So know that as I reflect on these past two years, I’m filled with nothing but love and gratitude. But also know, that I’m even more exited for the future to come.

          Sincerely,
                     Danielle
