@superlunaryyy gotcha. I knew that people complained about the smut thing a while ago. I just assumed it was the same issues as before but it makes sense why people are mad if it's gotten worse. And yeah, their flagging sucks.

nothing worse than having a great fic in your drafts for almost two years and finding another fic or two that have similar plots and being afraid of publishing it bc you don’t want people to think you’re plagiarizing someone else’s fic

i support the idea of boycotting big corporations 100%, but to the people getting irrationally angry at people who are still shopping at these places:
          
          NOT EVERYONE CAN AFFORD TO SHOP LOCAL.
          
          SOME OF US LIVE IN PLACES WHERE THE SMALL BUSINESSES—ESPECIALLY LOCALLY OWNED GROCERY STORES AND FARMERS MARKETS—ARE EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE.
          
          SOME OF US HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO SHOP AT THE CHAINS.
          
          IM SO SORRY Y’ALL WOULD RATHER US BOYCOTT AND STARVE TO DEATH.
          
          “oh that’s not” “we don’t do that” “you’re still shopping at target/walmart?” “*insert insults and slurs just for buying food here*”
          
          
          some of y’all are just so out of touch with reality its crazy.
          
          it’s an insane privilege to be able to shop solely local.
          
          most people don’t have that privilege.
