no i don't feel like it's too dramatic, it's not like the bad events are happening to them every 5 seconds. i feel like the most recent event that happened w liyah is realistic based off her continuously shoving down her feelings and not dealing w shit. it didn't seem like it just happened out of nowhere just for the plot. overall i'm enjoying and interested to see where they go next
