hey so I’ve got a confession to make : I’m not really feeling the direction of ‘renaissance’ and want to rework many of the major sections. just haven’t felt inspired to write more with what I’m currently working with. most characters will still be part of the story with the exception of 2 and I would like to a) tighten things up more and b) keep the story as grounded as possible because I fear it’s headed towards tyler perryville (and I don’t want that at all lmaoooo)

hey y’all I know it’s been weeks since the last update. so much was been going on with life and shit and so I’ve had to put the book on the back burner for the time being. idk when I’ll update renaissance but hopefully it’ll be soon

this might be one of my favorite chapters i've written for renaissance
at least for the second half of the book. it's like the sister chapter to ch. 17
the entirety of the next chapter for 'renaissance' is going to be 2 flashback scenes. is that cool with y'all? I was going to then go back to present day with the following one
i feel like the flashback scenes are good cause they always give context/insight to the characters
