i caught wind that you were rewriting my story and while i appreciate the hard work you’ve done by reviving brooklyn baby, i did take it down for a reason.
if you do end up completing retranslating my story, i really do hope you don’t redistribute it. i’m fully aware of the russian translation of it, and i never gave them permission to do so.
i do have a google doc of my original story so it isn’t lost forever, but i really don’t want anyone to read that story, even if it’s just a rewrite and you did tweak it.
as much as i admire your hard work in rewriting my story, i really hope you only do it for yourself. i’m sorry i didn’t get the news of this earlier so your effort and time weren’t wasted.

just a heads up, but I WILL rewrite the last part of chapter ten at some point. I'd like to do it sooner rather than later, because the scene is very important to me, and it feels rushed. there's a lot of things that could still be said so yeah, it might take some time because of course I'm working on the new chapter as well.
