Maggie was currently searching for Finney at school, and was having some trouble finding him.. but then, she found Finney behind the building. Her eyes landed on the cigarette in between his fingers, and crossed her arms. “You do know that those things can kill you, right?” She asked him, deadpan but with some concern showing in her tone as well.

So, now I have a friend who’ll smell like cigarette smoke forever.” Maggie retorted, but she cracked a small smile anyway, despite her tone. “But when you die from smoking all the time, don’t say I didn’t warn you.” She stated, nudging his shoulder with hers in an almost playful manner. Maggie noticed the way he moved to the opposite side of her, and quietly thanked him. She frowned, not loving the way he accepted his fate so easily. “Seriously? You’re not going to stop doing this?” She asked, even though she knew the answer already.

“ if you did id just get another. ” it was a gloomy day, cloudy with it set to rain all day long. it was days like this that didn't make it any easier for him. it was even more simple to get into his own head. when she coughed his head snapped in her direction and he switched to the opposite side of her so it wouldn't blow directly in her face as he muttered a soft apology. “ yeah, i know. eventually. ill take the detention. ive earned it. ”

@survivorscall “I’m going to take that pack of cigarettes away from you someday,” Maggie responded, now standing beside him. She was truly just worried about him. Maggie knew that he had trauma, but she just wished that he handled it in a different way. She coughed a little, covering her nose as the smoke drifted a little in her direction. She hated the absolutely awful smell that came from the smoke. She didn’t understand how Finney could stand it. She sighed, “You’re going to get in trouble if you keep sneaking out of school like this. I can’t keep covering for you whenever you’re gone.” She added.
