Susan Schott Karr is a professional communications consultant with over 25
years of editing, writing, and coaching experience in corporate, financial, and technical communications. 

With an eye toward business development, she has helped over 40 Fortune 500 companies and many startups improve the effectiveness of their written communications. Susan has published over 30 articles in Financial Executive and  Compliance Week magazines, as well as nine educational nonfiction children’s books. 

Susan recently served as the interim communications manager and senior communications writer at U.C. Hastings College of the Law, as well as a writing coach at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. 

She holds a B.A. in education/English from The College of William & Mary; an M.B.A. in general management/finance from Golden Gate University; a Certificate in Web Design from the University of California at Davis; and a Certificate in Novel Writing from Stanford University.
