Susan has published short stories and creative non-fiction. Her short film screened at festivals and won awards. Her play won the best new work award at Pumphouse Theatre's OAPF. Her YA novel Theia was a top 5% finalist in Screencraft's Cinematic Book Contest. Susan has taught short story writing and a memoir course . By day she works in the financial industry and by night, she volunteers with Rebel Rose her therapy, rescue dog. In her spare time, Susan acts, sings, camps, plays tennis, and travels. Currently, her feminist thriller and pandemic literary novel are making the rounds of publishers looking for a home. Just like Theia.
