(1/2) Hellooo! I've been trying to find a good fanfic in so long, and I came across 'In The Pale Moonlight' yesterday. Basically, I finished it all today.

I legit can't describe how good your writing is. The parallels, the imagery, and THE PLOT OMG. Usually, tropes like that end up being cringey or cheesy. So i was really surprised to see a fic with that kind of trope written so amazingly well. You wrote their internal dialogue really well, you could see the conflict. All of the characters were solid, as in, you can distinguish the characters and their individuality was evident. I especially love how consistent you were with the characterization.

Tbh, i kind of postponed reading that fic for a while, since I usually like reading fics that are finished. However, i skimmed a bit of the first chapter and I enjoyed it so much to the point where I binged it.

@Unbelievablefandoms i literally love the fic too- i literally screamed reading it. it was fr nice and not that cringe/cheesey... its hard to find ff/x readers like that-- if wattpad or the author takes it down, ima cry :')

@Unbelievablefandoms I'm glad you think that even through the unrealistic parts, it still makes sense. Cause usually I thought I would give poor reason for one scene to happen but thanks :) And i don't mind if you comment long, I enjoy it since it brings interaction through me and the people who like my story. So it's alright lol

@ittomi as writers it's normal to think our writing can become better. Even the best writers in the game think that! So that's normal and I hope you know that whenever you do think your writing can improve, it means you're improving something that I— and I think a lot of other people would agree— already think is great!

There were definitely parts of the story that felt more unrealistic than the rest, but i personally don't think it's stupid, since they were justified in the story. And it wasn't written in a cringey way. The trope can be as cringey as it can get but if the writing is good, it's still a good piece of writing.

As an example, i think the reader and Tubbo definitely got into a relationship way too quickly, but at the same time, Y/N was hurting and was not in the right mind, and Tubbo's character was just shown to be the kind that feels things quickly and intensely. So while it was definitely not very realistic, it still makes sense in the story. To me, it was an impulsive decision, and that happens a lot IRL. But even then, I really liked how the relationship meant something to them and that they're feelings were still real. So it was unrealistic ig, but i don't think it's stupid, yk? I hope I'm making sense

And no problem btw! Whenever I see a really good story, I tend to comment really long. Hope you don't mind hehe.
