a stress reliever of mine, especially now that i'm working long hours just about everyday and getting around 2 hours of sleep per night, is reading reader insert fics. makes me feel special with all the romance and whatnot. but, i digress.
i've been thrown back into the umbrella academy fandom recently, so i chose to browse the fanfics on here. and, to my ungodly surprise and disgust, there are an insane amount of five hargreeves x reader fics, WRITTEN BY ADULTS. while i understand the actor is 19, these books were published WHILE HE WAS STILL A MINOR. now, as i am an adult, i've stopped writing my fanfics i began while i was a younger teen myself, out of respect for morals;ethics;manners and whatnot. in short, IT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO. atop that is also the fact of i don't have writing in me anymore, but that's a sub-fact. the main is the morals.
so, i'm deeply disappointed in the wattpad community for this fact. people are far too comfortable with explicit content regarding children. it's disgusting and wrong.
