            in my defense, you must understand that i've been meaning to send you such a message for six something months now.
            
            as a devout reader, of course i religiously follow your ko-fi. i'm really excited for whatever (if) you post in the summer!! you should absolutely make a personalised space and i would be so intrepid as to suggest that you should seriously consider publishing someday. selfishly, i am motivated by the prospect of having physical copies of your works if nothing else.
            
            and it makes me so happy that this message brought you joy, especially since you're usually the one whose writing touches my heart.

@swallowedhearts PLEASE reading long responses to the long paragraphs i leave is one of the happiest experiences ever!! i feel like tucker describing how time gets away from him in the early chapters of tbou because i really have not realised it's been so long since i sent this. it feels like yesterday that i was sitting in class and hitting post. this, incidentally, is exactly what i mean when i say that this book lives in my head. 
            
            I'M SO GLAD YOU FOUND PEACE AND VIOLENCE that is one of my favourite songs!! you should listen to another song of hers called porcelain because that reminds me of wherefore art thou romeo too. faouzia writes a lot about unhealthy relationships.
            
            it's sincerely unbelievable to me that you view your writing through such a critical lens. i would pick your writing out of all the things i've ever read, and i read quite often. i've told my partner many times now that you're going to be someone who leaves a mark and whom people will to struggle to forget. as happy as it makes me that you intend on completing tbou, please feel absolutely no pressure to keep writing when you're tired. it's wonderful enough as it is, even unfinished, for me to consider bookbinding it at least once a month. what i mean to say is that you should give yourself more credit because impacting people in such an intrinsic manner is something most humans can never do throughout their lives.
            
            i'm halfway through the stranger rn. i'll definitely watch the film thank you so much for the recommendation! you should look into the letters bw camus and casares. aside from the sordid details of the affair's circumstances, it's wonderful to see two people utilise the full extent of a language to get across such a primal emotion. because of everything i've discovered from your writing, i've actually been considering pursuing a degree in sociology! regardless of whether or not i go through with it, thank you for being a part of me exploring such a beautiful and delicate subject.

            I don't have an instagram page at the moment! I have a ko-fi for some extra bits and pieces which I'm hoping to add to over summer, but I'm also thinking about creating a more personalised space for me to put my work outside of wattpad so I'll let u know if that comes to fruition!

            absolutely perfect, cant complain. i might have cried (not might, i did) and cried a even more when it ended. your writing shows the true purpose of being an author -- which is channeling your emotions into written art to share with others and make them feel them feels. 
            
            keep up the AMAZING WRITING, and im really looking forward to read more of your works soon~

            I didn't know about that song beforehand but you are so so right!! Some of the lyrics represent Rodney and Romeo's dynamic so accurately, and it means a lot to me that you would think of them <3 
            
            I always found it so easy to fall into the 'what if things had been different?' mindset myself when I was still writing them. Even though I don't think it's impossible that Rodney could become a different person, I couldn't bring myself to change the final chapters. I think they both got what they deserved and, more importantly, Romeo got his happy ending :')
            
            I really appreciate your support for the story and for sharing a song that captures aspects of their relationship so perfectly! Thank you for being so lovely and thoughtful, take care :') <33
