A little brass bell chimed as the other stepped inside the shop. The air smelled of old books, cedar, and something sweet one couldn’t place. Every shelf overflowed with oddities—glass bottles filled with impossible colors, clocks that ticked backwards, mirrors that reflected empty rooms.
“You know,” a voice drawled “most people knock before walking into someone else’s mystery” a young man lounged effortlessly on the top of a ladder, reading a weathered book upside down. He smiled like he’d been expecting her.
“…Sheriff Swan” his grin widened “I’ve heard so much about you.”

Yumi was wondering around. Trying to avoid the shadows but also not be in direct light where she could be found. She had her dagger. She had gotten it back before running while Pan was desperately trying to do something else on the island. Yumi heard voices and frowned. Who was it? Was it someone he brought to the island? She quietly approached and listened in.
