Last post was from the new year, wow. Hope everyone's doing alright. I'm gonna stop making promises, but I will keep making apologies for the long wait on all of my fics (some farrrr longer than others). I'm trying very hard. Sometimes it's just hard to get going but never impossible.

@The_Batman_08 Thank you! It means a lot to me that my writing it worth the time lol. Maybe I'll bring the supernatural fic back one day. I just felt like I couldn't really do anything with the OC until further into the season(s) and bored myself trying to get to that point. Never say never, though!

I love hearing feedback like this, it makes writing just so much better knowing someone is actually waiting and willing to read something I spend time on <33333 and I absolutely adore the fact that you’ve made your own list for your crush haha I feel like that’s sort of an aspect in having a crush that’s lost these days when back then, during the teen wolf days 2010’s, it was so so common to write a diary or write a pro and con list or doodle a name in the margin. The yearning aspect is just so special

My one vice as a writer is giving my character a nickname (Ex. Jay instead of James) and then referring to them by their nickname throughout the entire story. "Jay looked over" "Jay moved away" instead of "James looked over." "James moved away". I noticed other authors don't do that. Aside from dialogue, they use the full name for everything else. Does anyone have an opinion on this or am I just reading too into it?
@sweetenerss ofc my goat Your good grief series is so good I've been rereading them for the 3rd time while waiting for updates bc you never disappoint! You're characterization of all the characters are so good and spot on and I love how Jay naturally fits into the story instead of feeling like an oc, you're writing is so good and you have an amazing sense of humor so I'm always cracking up reading them no matter how many times I reread and I'm always the first one to cheer when I see that you updated im planning to read your other stories once I finish!! #no1sweetenerssfan
@Felixsemobf no it definitely answered it! I just always love to hear what ppls preferences are, or opinions, or general thoughts cuz I feel like writing is so subjective and even in a fanfiction, ppl will have their own head canons lol. You’re spot on with Jay, though. To me, he was James/Jamie as a kid at home to those closest to him, JB or his other plethora of nicknames at school growing up, but Jay was a fresh start after the fire. ——— side note, been loving your comments recently :) it’s always nice to see someone enjoying something I’ve put so much time and effort into <3
@sweetenerss I think it gives a better perspective of how Jay is currently, he was mentioned to have alot of nicknames but only goes by Jay instead of James almost like becoming another version of himself than he was before? I dont know if this answered your question I'm just talking to talk

Yk sometimes ppl will comment on some of the cringier lines of dialogue and stuff in good grief (early chapters, the big confession, anything remotely emotional) and every time I just gotta shake my head and resist the urge to kms. There’s just something about rereading ur own stuff months later that inherently makes it suck!
But also, sometimes ppl will comment on little stuff and lines I’m very proud of and I’ll just laugh and kick my feet and think I’m the best writer ever lowkey. There’s really facets to this lol
