@AhriAkiri18 If people call you fake, that's their problem, not yours. If you're going to put a lot of yourself into your character, I recommend giving them a few traits, quirks, or a hobby that you don't have. Otherwise, you might feel too intertwined with your character, and any criticism/feedback people give about the character will feel like they're insulting you. Writing is an amazing outlet, and writing a character with similar traits to you can be a good way to learn more about yourself. Just remember that the character is an extension of you, not you yourself. Have fun with it, and if people like it, that's great. If you like it and find meaning in it, that's what matters most. :)
