idk if anyone on here has heard, but there’s been a horrific case of racial bullying down in South Wales. [the story is on muslima_vegan Instagram]. there’s also a go fund me to raise money for a prosthetic finger!

          an eleven year old boy was bullied in school, physically and racially. the school was informed that it would be handled by tueaday, but on tuesday, he was attacked and abused by the group of boys. when trying to escape, he caught his finger on a fence he was climbing, and as a result, his finger had to be amputated. 
          
          kids are NEVER too young to learn about racism. it’s a conversation that’s HAS to be spoken about from as young as possible. bullying itself is horrific- let  alone racial bullying. thankfully, the mother will be taking legal action, which I hope goes well, and the case has reached the media, but that doesn’t change the horrific experience for Raheem. even when he physically recovers, the effect on his mental health will still be there. educate your children.
          
          not only that, but wales is not innocent. just because we live in a small country/community, does not mean we don’t have racial bias, and that the country isn’t rife with racism. in fact, often the more traditional communities happen to have the most racial bias. racism in wales has got to be discussed and the experiences of BAME who’ve lived here have got to be listened to. people should not have experience violence before prejudice is taken seriously.

sit here was this adorable cat in my village that my dad and nephew found a couple of weeks ago. he would sit in the greenhouse next to the primary school, and was super playful. a cat was hit by a car today, and my mum sent me a photo of it and it had the exact same collar as the one win the greenhouse, so clearly it’s the same cat. makes you realise how quickly things disappear. we never truly appreciate things until they’re gone; like plants. from my experience, I buy them and out them in my room, forget about them, and then as soon as they wilt and rot, I mourn their beauty and colours, but I still don’t learn. things change so quickly.

being on sertraline, diazepam, and melatonin at the same time is like floating on a cloud and I can’t tell if it’s a good cloud or a bad cloud.

I’m so sorry for those last rants lol I hate ranting on social media but I could just use some advice

oh btw to add on to the last post, I was off for two weeks because of an od, and I went into school to take reg photos, and didn’t get any acknowledgment from the same friends who wanted to come to my birthday party (and got funny with me for not inviting certain mean people), but I brushed it off because tbf I didn’t say hi (I find that I often have to say hi first), but then I walked in to reg with my friend who’s also been off, and they all got really excited and shouted her name and hugged her, and asked to have a photo of their group and her together- without acknowledging me. Ofc I didn’t think too much of it because I don’t spend time with them at break, but neither does she, and I’ve been friends with a lot of them for years. It hurt, but I understand that I could’ve done more and we’ve probs drifted- only issue is that when I didn’t invite some of them to my birthday party because one of them has been horrible to me, and I drifted with some of them, a couple of people got really funny with them. So I can’t tell if we’ve drifted or not. I just want to have a fresh start without the whole starting drama for no reason etc. so would like to block the mean ones. Idk I’m just so stuck and can’t tell if it’s my fault. I’m having some people over after exams so it’ll be interesting to see if they get funny about it. They always meet up without certain people in the group, so surely it shouldn’t be an issue. I’m going to try not feel left out now if they have parties  (I get bad fomo) because I want to separate from them and feel like some of them are  really toxic. Do you think there’s anything more I can do? Last time I called them out in year 8 they were horrible, and I almost had to move school.

okay so I need advice lol- first thing is: what’s your opinion on people who block people from school without telling them why? My friend sued to do and then are me back and then block me again and it really hurt, but now I want to block some mean people from my school once I leave year 11 and move, and I know that I should tell them why (one of my New Years resolutions is to be more open if someone has hurt me) but a lot of them are very aggressive, and one is a continuous lier to and about me (which has contributed to my mental health issues which I don’t want to blame anyone about but it definitely hasn’t helped) and so I’d like to quietly block her and then block a few others and just say it’s because we don’t talk (I don’t want to hurt their feelings but they’re quite mean) but I feel like instead of having a mature conversation, they’ll turn it into a whole argument/drama to gossip about. I did think about just making my Instagram account private and removing followers, but idk I quite like having a public account. I really would like to call some of them out, but A. My school has an issue with siding with the more popular/powerful people, and so I’m scared I’ll get harassed like back in year 8, and B. I have a really bad issue with having panic/anxiety attacks and atm don’t want to call them out because they’ll say stuff I’ve done wrong and I’m not in the place mentally to take it and when I call them out, I would like to be open to ways I can change because otherwise I’ll be a hypocrite, but historically, they often bring irrelevant stuff up that isn’t true which I struggle with because my mind tricks me into thinking it’s true. I’ve still got around 4 months to decide what to do, but if anyones got advice I’ll really appreciate  it- thank you!!
