          Well love is love, and anyone can watch whatever he or she wants. No one has any kind of rights to judge anyone. Now you had told me your story so I also wants to tell mine. 
          
          I got to know about the BL stuff from The untamed almost 5 years ago. And my first bl series was beloved in the house. At first i myself couldn't understand why do I am liking this all. Everything seems new and kinda weird but nothing feels wrong. At first I was so afraid as what anyone in my family got to know about this all then how would I explain everything to them as they are not that open minded. Then finally I decided to tell my elder sister about it. At first she was quite confused but then for me she decided to try it once. And then there was no coming back. Now she is even a bigger bl lover than me. It's so satisfying that I can share my feelings with sister. 
          
          And about friends I had told them that I watch bl stuff and thankfully they didn't judge me. I don't talk with them about the bl series I watch. 
          
          And about your friends, I think they were toxic as they realise that you do not fit in their rules or mindset they broke friendship with you. 
          But trust me whatever happens with you was for good. It's better to have no friends than having toxic and egoistic one. 
          
          I hope you would get so many good and genuine friends and always be happy in your life. And whenever you feel sad or upset you can tell me I will give you good and heartwarming replies.
