Sirius knows Regulus enough to contemplate his behaviour over the previous chapters. He realises pretty much instantly.

Hi! Thanks so much for enjoying it. I don’t actually know how many chapters there will be. I’m estimating about 150, though this is flexible depending on how I end up writing. I have an ending in mind, that is a little while away!
