Hello! The first draft of The Summer Axiom is done; it's scheduled to be completely published at October 30. It was previously titled The Summer He Met Her, but I changed it so that it would match the titles of the other books in the series.
          
          I'm currently outlining the next book wherein Zack and Vivi meet again as teenagers. It's the first book of the series and called The Summer Hypothesis. I'm so excited to share it  because the banter's going to be insane — these two have been bickering inside my head for years now XD — and also because I'll put a lot of cultural references in there (I'm Filipino and the book is set in the Philippines).

Hi, everyone! I'm 16/20 chapters done with "The Summer He Met Her" (previously Paper Swans).
          
          I've been hacking at the first draft these past three weeks, trying to finish it as soon as possible so I can get the next book started (because writing a childhood prequel is not really a book where I can use most of my writing skills).
          
          Initially, I only wanted this prequel to be seven chapters. Then when I outlined it, it became thirteen. And as I wrote it chapter by chapter, it expanded to fifteen then seventeen and now, currently at nineteen, an epilogue, and three bonus chapters. 
          
          Anyway, I CANNOT keep moving the goalpost like this so I've decided to just finish the draft by next week, whether it completely fleshes out Zack and Vivi's friendship or not DX. I wanna finish the draft ASAP before class resumes this August 10 and time becomes scarce lol.
          
          Stay tuned since weekly updates are already scheduled until the book has been fully published.

          I'm surprised no one unfollowed me after four years. I've been inactive for most of that time—I barely published anything and practically disappeared.
          
          Lately, though, I've found myself missing writing a lot. It's one of my core hobbies that I've never been able to fully abandon. I keep coming back to it during certain seasons. This time was one such season.
          
          So... I'm back with something I've wanted to write for years but couldn't do so yet because it was too early then.
          
          I finally published the prequel to a series centered around two characters who have been living rent-free in my head for what feels like forever. I've thought about them for so long that I basically have the entire story memorized at this point. I've fleshed out the side characters, imagined countless alternate universes, and replayed scenes over and over in my head until they almost feel like memories instead of ideas.
          
          I decided to start with the prequel because it's the shortest book (hehe), and I didn't want to overwhelm myself while getting back into writing. It's completely standalone, though, so you can read it without needing any prior context.
          
          Right now, there's only one chapter published, but the book is fully outlined and will have around twelve chapters. I'll be scheduling updates every Friday at 9:00 PM EST.
          
          Honestly, this story has been with me for so many years that sharing it feels less like creating something new and more like finally telling people about a place I've been visiting in my mind for a very long time.
          
          If you decide to give Paper Swans a chance, I hope you enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed carrying it with me all these years. 
          
          This story marks the beginning of an intense slow burn between two childhood best friends whose bond is built so deeply on platonic love that, over the years, it quietly grows into something more — long before either of them realizes it.

After five long months, The Nerd in the Corner is officially complete with 15 chapters. It's the first time I've ever actually finished a book, and to say that it's been such a rocky road is an understatement. To be perfectly honest, the piece itself is beyond editing and should be rewritten.
          
          Initially, I didn't have even the most basic information about my characters written down before I started writing. I let the plot and chapters shape them. But now, I'll be creating character profiles, a plot outline, and a worldbuilding one before starting. There will be various changes: plot, names, additional characters, and even an entirely new system. It will definitely take a while and I'll only start publishing the whole thing once it's completed.
          
          In the meantime, I'll also be writing a zombie and fantasy book. So, that's all for now, see you again in the next chapter :D.
