I just finished reading “Daybreak” by the amazing author @beifongg
I will tell you this. I have never added a book to my reading list before, but this book changed that. Cyan's (beifongg) writing style brought tears to my eyes on multiple occasions. The storyline followed perfect, yet wavy lines. (It was quite wonky at times, but I like to think that added a certain character to the story itself).
The development between Yoongi and Jimin was excellent. I like to think the author represented them well, while not actually knowing the boys personally. The childish aspect of Yoongi in the beginning accompanied by the serious, collected Jimin added a humorous touch. And then, when the story changed to one more involved with tragedy and heartbreak, it took my breath away. I was one to speculate Jimin's mental illness from the first mention of it in the beginning/middle scenes. But the way Yoongi was still so stubborn that he avoided Jimin during this time of Jimin's realization, it was exactly how you'd expect him to react. Yoongi didn't know what was going on, and Jimin didn't quite either. This story, in a way, was both of them becoming accustomed to the changes in their lives, and they needed to experience it together, which I think is just beautiful.
All in all, this was a spectacular book. I highly recommend you read it for yourself. It'll catch you off guard and open your eyes to something important that isn't recognized as much as it should be. Thank you, @beifongg for allowing me to read something I won't forget about in a very long time.
