I’ve decided that I don’t support Christianity anymore.
My mom made a very disgusting statement that deals with hanging and then quoted a Bible scripture that basically in support of hangings and as you know, hanging has a bad history such as slavery and black history and as a black person it was in poor taste for my mom to do that but one of the major reasons is that I was very suicidal at one point and hanging is also used as a way to commit suicide so for her to make a statement like that and then quote a Bible scripture that supports hanging is disgusting to me. And it’s also known that Christian’s look down at ppl committing suicide and that murder is bad so for a verse to be like “you might as well kill yourself” and then say “murder is a sin” is disgusting to me, i think my mother is disgusting for making that statement and it honestly made me uncomfortable and hostile
For context I was telling her about the Palestine- American boy that got killed due to hatred and she said the person who killed them need to be hanged.
I don’t support the hate that’s going on right now, I don’t support the murderer and I hope they goes to jail for years on end but for my mom to make that shit statement is just disgusting and for a religion that’s supposed to be about second chances and peace and harmony to have a statement like that is something I can’t support at all.

This isn't related to what you said but there's a part that says smrh along the line of not wearing mixed fabric and right after that it says you shouldn't have tattoos and I pointed that out to my mom and she said that it's for the olden days and it's okay to wear different fabric so I asked her if it's okay to get tattoos and she said no because that one still applies to now...

I am very sad because I found out someone who is close to me said homophobic things and I don’t agree with it and I have to remind you guys that sexuality does not equal personality. Just because someone is gay doesn’t automatically mean they’re good, just someone is straight doesn’t automatically mean they’re good. Just because someone is gay doesn’t mean they’re bad ppl either. She said really hurtful things like the F slur and said the reason he had a STD because he was with a man and God gave it to him and that gay ppl are destructive and I was disgusted and disturbed by her words especially as a pansexual person myself. Her anger towards this person (who was in the wrong) doesn’t mean she can say those things and it’s sad that I lost a long term friend but I want to move on and surround myself with positivity. Also want to clear the air about the misinformation having HIV/AIDS/HERPES is not a disease that only gay ppl get at all. Just have protected sex and always make sure to keep yourself safe with any partner no matter the sexuality.

The hate that trans ppl are getting is crazy and I wish nothing but the best for my trans friends who just want to live their lives and be loved ❤️
There are bad ppl in every sexuality but that don’t mean make it seem like every person within that sexuality is bad.
