right so my normal friends dont understand my pain
so all the riordan fans know that pjo: wrath of te triple goddess is out? good
i am about to finish pjo: the last olympian (aka the last of the original series)
i have recently bought pjo: the chalice of the gods (aka the first later release)
however, childrens day is in like 4 days and i want to go to the biggest popular bookstore in my city.
therefore my problems:
1) the copy of chalice i bought is the same size and style as the newest uk covers (neon borders, paper back)
2) pjo: the titans curse is a similar yellow to the copy of chalice i have
3) if i do buy triple goddess now, the size and style (no neon borders, slightly bigger, floppy book) will not match my other books
4) the big bookstore i mentioned most likely has chalice in the same size and style as triple goddess currently is but i cannot confirm
5) i do not want to wait for triple goddess to be the same size and style as my other books and chalice and triple goddess are the newer releases
6)my mother will probably not want to spend more money on another copy of chalice
so wish me luck cause i will be begging my mom to bring me and my brother there for childrens day

@t3ll4_XD I GET YOU We bought five Riordanverse books some weeks ago (before the last book came out), they were the only ones we missed (except for most of spin-off things and The Kane Chronicles). Don't know correct terms so it'll be a mess - pjo's 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th books are paperback, og format (at least here i think), love them - curse of the titan is still paperback, but in "pocket" edition - heroes of olympus' first and second books are again paperback, super cool as well - rest of hoo is in hard cover, not neon tho (first edition again) - Magnus Chase's first and second, again first edition, again hard cover - the third one, we just bought, is paperback - Apollo's trials: the first (we bought again, cause it got lost TvT), the second and the fifth (just bought) are paperback - third and fourth, hard cover, really cool, ig you got how it goes lol - the gay book™ (the sun and the star) is paperback, just bought - chalice of the gods, just bought, is hard cover, slightly bigger, plus the cover style is really more abstract and stylized than any other one Ig books come out in hard cover before (roughly 5€ more) and after 1-2 years paperback comes out, since pjo finished at the very least (now you can track what we bought and when lmao) Judging by my chaotic point of view, buy it how it's easier to. As long as it's a decent book in its shape, but i think it is. Collecting books is already hard enough lol
