Hello. I’m TM. Just initials, for anonymity’s sake. I’m a pretty private person. I have been working on writing a book since I was in high school. ‘The Summer of the Rest of our Lives’ is a story about three teenagers who graduate and experience the most transformative summer of their lives. I’ve shaped each characters personality from parts of myself, through my own experiences and ones that I find most impactful. Religion is talked about heavily, but not focused on. My religious upbringing, and the trauma I’ve endured is the main reason I began writing this book. That being said, this story handles many different intense moments going further into it. Chapter 1 is lighter and doesn’t dive heavy into the main subjects of the story. But it introduces the characters, and the type of conflict to arise.
‘The Summer of the Rest of Our Lives’ will consist of 10 chapters. 2 parts per chapter. The first chapter is published here. I will continue to work and edit the story, without any set upload schedule. If this by chance gets any readers, please feel free to add notes on my writing. I am no expert writer by any means. It is just something I enjoy doing to escape.
