GUYS.

The first chapter of Agent Carter - Now is Not the End - broke 9,800 words!!!

I am absolutely floored by this. I refused to look at the word count until I finished the chapter (literally, I taped a piece of paper over my computer screen so I wouldn’t peek), and I can’t believe I wrote so much.

I was tempted to break this episode and its successors into 2 chapters each, but since I want the whole of Phase One to be a single book, I need to keep all 18 episodes their own chapters to avoid hitting 100 chapters on the work (roughly 42 chapters from films, plus 18 episodes of Agent Carter and 20-something episodes of Agents of SHIELD). It just wouldn’t work out.

I mention in the foreword that these chapters likely aren’t meant to be read in one sitting unless you have a bit of time on your hands, but I think this single chapter proves my point. It beats the second-longest chapter by over 3,000 words!

That being said, thank you so much for bearing with me. This semester of university got a little tough, and I started slacking with the writing, but I’m going to try and finish Agent Carter (if not both seasons, at least the first one) by the time Captain Marvel drops in a few months. Then, I’ll start rolling out the chapters weekly while I write that and the following five films (IM, IH, IM2, Thor, and Avengers).

hi!! it’s on its way :) for a better reading experience for you guys, i’ve decided to hold off on releasing TLH until it’s fully completed, so all of the writer’s block breaks and life events that put writing on hold don’t cause massive gaps in chapter releases like they did for the first book. i started writing TRAS when i was still in college, and i TOTALLY underestimated how busy life would get after i graduated, lol. so i committed to a lot of scheduling things for that book that i unfortunately couldn’t stick to. but it’s, like… 2/3 of the way there? so it’s coming!! life is unpredictable so i can’t set a month, but i’m confident it’ll release this year :) thank you for your enjoyment of the first book (and your patience)!!

Wow... I just finished 'To Revive A Soul' and I loved every bit of it. So amazed by how well written and acurate Tom's character is; not to mention Hogwarts and it's magic you managed to replicate.
So desperate to read the sequel if its still in the works!!! Xx

Hello spent a few hours ravishing your book. I must say, its ardently hyptonizing and mesmerizing. It's dreamy-like and a great take on TMR's journey through self-exploration. Like a bit of Alice in Wonderland, except more on the gorey side. I can't wait for updates on the sequel! Stay safe, satisfied, wise, happy, and healthy!

Thank you so so much for this TMR has always been such a magical and intriguing character for me, and I’m so glad I could bring his story to life :) The sequel is about a third of the way completed, I think? Hoping for a late summer release but we’ll see Take care!!
