Guys I'm looking for a book I already read but cannot find again. I really want to re-read it again. I forgot the title of it but it's based on obsession. Where there is a haunted mysterious figure that owns the villa/house. A girl comes and stays there or works there, the phantom is in love with her, the people who know about this phantom they try to save her by doing a puja, the police officer tries to help.

          	It's Indian based
          	FL x ML

Ik this is not much but if u know what I'm talking about, have a similar story that sounds like this let me know. Also if the author recognises this sort of plot can u please let me know ❤️

@taehay29 I don't know how much darker I can go. Lucifer has already done so many bad and dark things. At this point, I want him to, at least once, love Sofi softly and genuinely change for her. Like, I want to actually see him changing, not suddenly, but slowly realizing how much he ended up hurting the girl he claims to love.

But yeah, the beginning of the plot is still dark. Do you want to hear it?

It’s something like him lying about losing his memory and somehow managing to stay with Sofi and his son. Sofi starts doubting him while he pretends to be shocked that she’s his wife. But he still ends up showing his possessiveness and darkness, like secretly killing someone again and still obsessing over her the way he used to before she knew the truth.

@taehay29 I'm active, but I'm not able to write anything. I'm trying my hand at new short stories, thinking maybe it’ll help me get back to writing, but I’m getting stuck even while writing those.

About Lucifer and Sofi’s ending, from my side, I can only think of one ending where even if Lucifer changes, Sofi still doesn’t accept him.

I saw a reel where a guy was saying something on behalf of a girl. I don’t know the context behind it, but it was basically about how no matter what the guy does, she won’t accept him because she doesn’t love him. It was something like, “Tumne mujhse pyaar kiya, maine nahi. Phir chahe tum jo kar lo, laga do saare shehar ko aag, yeh mukti tumhe nahi milegi.” LOL, I forgot the exact dialogue, but the overall meaning was that no matter what he does, even if he changes and becomes a good person, she still won’t accept him, and he won’t get closure for his obsession.

Not because she doesn’t see his change—she just doesn’t want to accept him. She never saw him as her partner, and she never will.

According to this idea, the story would end with Lucifer committing suicide. But I don’t think readers would like that ending. Some might, but some will still want them to end up together.

Hey girl, my writer’s block isn’t going away. I really want to write, but none of my stories are making sense in my head right now.

I’ve thought about the plot for Obsessive Flame Book 2, but I still need some time to figure out how it should end. I don’t feel like starting it without having a proper plot figured out, and I really don’t want to repeat the same cycle of Sofi and Lucifer’s relationship from the first book.

Suggest something, what do you think the ending should be?

@wherelove_bleeds I feel like nothing beats what u already have written but I like the concept and idea of what u have suggested about him still being possessive etc. I would love that ending, cuz it shows change but yet demonstration of humanity not 100 percent changess

@wherelove_bleeds heyy I understand, it's ok it happens, I was just wondering and making sure I guess ur still active ❤️❤️. Honestly there can be multiple endings for the audience to choice from happy, sad, neutral, dark. And I'm all for dark, I feel like the ending should be what the start should be why a change in characters, the whole book is on those themes

Hey,

I hope you’re having a cozy day, filled with books that feel like old friends.

I’m really sorry to slide into your space like this—I just came across your profile and noticed you enjoy emotional, character-driven stories. My friend has recently started sharing a story that’s really close to her heart, and I thought you might love it too.

It’s called In the Wake of Us.

          She’s never known love.
          He’s still haunted by it.
Neither of them saw the storm coming.

Maira believes she’s not meant to be loved.
Arham once was—and it broke him.
Now they’re bound by a marriage neither wanted, caught in a silence thick with pain and unspoken truths.

It’s a slow-burn, emotional read about grief, love, and the quiet ways people find their way back to themselves—and to each other. Not the kind of love that fixes everything… but the kind that changes you.

If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, it would mean a lot if you gave it a chance. My friend would be truly grateful for your support!

And if you ever feel like sharing your thoughts, she would love to hear them—only if you’re comfortable, of course.

Thank you so much for your time. It means more than you know.
