hello, everyone! i apologize for going ghost for a while; it’s been literal years since i’ve even attempted to write anything. life has gotten a lot busier the older i’ve gotten, but i am back (indefinitely)!
i wanted to inform you all of my decision to unpublish my story "the princess and i." i understand that this story has been beloved for many readers and i don’t wish to disappoint anyone, especially people who have shown me so much support and kindness, however i no longer wish to keep that story on my profile. i wrote that story years ago when i was younger and more immature and i no longer associate myself with that writing style (or lack thereof). i apologize, but this will not be negotiated; i will be removing that story within the week.
but — it’s not all bad news! i am currently working on the rewrite of "the princess and i." will it be exactly the same story? of course not, i suppose that’s the point. i intend to restructure the plot and rid it of the plethora of issues included in the original and i also plan to better flesh out the characters. in short, i wish to make the story better and more worthy of your reading so that it can be something i would be happy to share with you all and not ashamed. my writing style and view of my own work has changed, so i feel my work should change accordingly.
i cannot promise when the rewritten version will be finished. i will do my best to put it out at a reasonable time, but as you all know, more often than not, life gets in the way and i won’t always have time to write as much as i want to. but i do promise that "the princess and i" will return, even if the road is bumpy.
