          slowly but steady
          careless but still trying to give you warmth
          not invading, not demanding
          
          i saw the signs
          the pauses
          the distance
          
          i knew sooner or later
          you'd slip out of my sight

          not blind, just choosing to live inside the moments
          where your voice made the room feel smaller

if things aren't going well, i'll let you go. i don't want to force you to stay, i don't want to make myself stay for any longer either.
          
          i might hurt you, you might hurt me as well. we hurt each other, yet we love each other that much, too.
          
          i don't know, but if loving you only cause another pain for you, for me, and for us, i'd rather stop it before it destroys us more.
