Taikō (退紅) is a pale, fading pink; the last flush of colour before it disappears.

It's the colour of unsent letters, soft-spoken regrets, and the warmth you almost remember.

I write stories that lay out the hopeless romances and almosts in my life. The ones built from 3 a.m. conversations with myself- things I wish I'd said years ago.

I want to write stories that don't just feel good.

They also feel real.

For when you need to hurt a little before you heal.
