Sometimes, I don’t even remember that I have corneal dystrophy; other times, I can’t forget it no matter how hard I try. It feels as if someone has smeared fingerprints all over my glasses.
          
          Occasionally, the blur washes away after a bit of rubbing, but today is one of those days where I just can't escape it.
          
          ​To my fellow writers and R4R partners: I’m taking a small break from reading to let the 'fog' settle. I hope you understand. I’ll be back to our stories as soon as the glass is clear again.
