Hey hi hello—it’s been a minute! I just wanted to hop on here real quick and finally say… something. Oof, this is awkward.
I know I haven’t really updated anyone since I took my stuff down, so I guess I should do that first. After months of writing in private, I’ve come to the conclusion that Wattpad and Inkitt are not the right platforms for me. Between the content guidelines changing for the worse, not having the ability to moderate comments, and overall just having a hard time finding my target demographic—I’ve decided to go a different route. But I’d still like to keep in touch with any of my writer friends and readers!
I spent the last six months searching for a place where I would fit in and be accepted as a writer, or at least be respected, and had no luck.
So, @MissShanShan and I built a discord server for ostracized writers and artists that’s finally up and running. I’ve met some really talented creators who’ve been given way too much grief for being eclectic or different, and just wanted to curate a safe haven where we could all read each other’s work in peace and without judgement.
