I recently finished reading Hopekook and I must say, the ending was absolutely beautiful. Thank you for creating such an emotionally resonant story— it really made me wish for a man like the one you wrote about. ()
As I was browsing through your collection of stories, I happened to come across MiniMoni/MinJoon: Till Death Do Us Part again. I know it’s a short story and the ending is already so touching with Joon meeting V years later, but if it’s not too much trouble, I was wondering if you might consider writing a few more parts to it. I’d love to see how a broken man, still in love with his late husband, navigates the process of falling in love again. Additionally, it would be wonderful to see how V makes an effort to win Joon’s heart. Essentially, I’m curious to see who falls first and who falls harder.
This idea came to me in the wee hours of the morning (3:40 AM, to be exact), and while I do have an exam in a few hours (I promise, I’ve studied!), I couldn’t stop thinking about your story. If you could possibly expand on it, I would be beyond grateful. I truly appreciate the time and effort you put into your work and would be thrilled to see what you create next.
